New new new! All sorts of new things at the site! New banner, new page, new images! Woo Woo, enjoy exploring everyone. New stuff for the New Year!
Yes a new banner! I can’t decide if I like this one or not yet, it is a crop view of (again) one of my paintings. I have a prettier one on my harddrive but for some reason wordpress hates it even though it is a .jpg format. Maybe I’ll play with it some more later but it is 230 am. If you are in the Cincinnati area and have a strong need to see the actual painting I have a show coming up and it is in it (along with some others that I feel are strong pieces).
Here is the original piece:
Happy Christmas everyone! And the reason that I didn’t say “merry” was not that it isn’t a merry day but that the saying “merry Christmas” actually came from the book “A Christmas Carol.” I still like to say “merry Christmas”, but it is just neat to use the original saying. Actually in England I believe that they still use the saying “happy Christmas” as the main way to give Yuletide greeting. So HAPPY CHRISTMAS everyone! And my gift to all of you is my amazing knowledge of random/meaningless crap! (I pwned some serious ass at trivia games because of my “gift.”)
Aren’t breaks like vactions? All I’ve done on break is work and haul ass on show stuff… ech. I am ::egg nog:: and missing my Uncle and Pappy more than normal. I hate the holidays at times.
But on a postive note, I can’t wait for Victor to come home. I’ve decided that when I go to pick him up at the airport I’m going to surprise him. I can’t say how, he reads this, but I know that he will love it. ^^ It just sucks that I’m spending New Years alone since he gets home the 2nd.
I’m really enjoying my weekend. Even though almost all of my friends are out of town, I’m finding company with my family. My mom and I hung out today and finished up Christmas shopping. And I’m super excited since I FINALLY figured out what I’m giving to Victor. And what is even better is that I successfully found it and just finished wrapping it! Oh yeah, I totally did a victory dance.
